1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it ?

- Beth Ann’s behavior now that she has a boyfriend, is more of a happier person and she is into the fact that she even has a boyfriend.

2. how does Mary Lou react when Mr. Furtz dies?

- Mary Lou finds it sad. she is suspicious about how Mr. Furtz children aren’t sad. She finds them playing monopoly like if nothing had happened.

So far in the story Absolutely Normal Chaos, there has been many conflicts. Well, Mary Lou is very mad because her cousin, Carl Ray, is moving in with her family until he finds a job and gets settled. Carl Ray is a very messy person. Mary Lou also has to deal with her boy-crazy friend Beth Ann. Mary Lou’s dad, Sam Finney, finally lets Maggie go to the party where a guy named Alex Cheevey ask about Mary Lou. After a while Mary Lou and Alex Cheevey start hanging out and even starting to like each other. Carl Ray finally gets a job at a hardware store but surprisingly the Finney’s neighbor which is also the owner of the hardware store dies of a hard attack.

2. What is the difference between the Finney’s house and the Bartels’ house. Rate the house from clean or neat to poor and disorganized(pg.8)?

The Titanic is about a ship that crashed on the second day of travel. It was a very devastating tragedy.

1. Why was Paul content to be backup goalie?

 -because he new that in the game someone was going to get hurt at one point. he new he would have to go in. also because at windsor middle school everyone knew that he had EIP and they would’t even give him a chance. instead, in Tangerine middle school no one new about it so they just went along, and he was finally trated like a normal person. he would have a o beginig for the Paul Fisher soccer dream.

2. What happened when Paul went in to the soccer game for Victor? What was Victor’s reaction?

 -When paul went to the soccer game for Victor he actually made a goal. This was the first gaol he had ever made in a real soccer game. Victor and Mr. Cruz came were content and came back aftera comple minutes left of the game, and when Victor saw the score he was fasinated. he asked paul” how did you do?”

3. Why didn’t Maya need Mrs. Fisher’s encouragement?”

- she already new that she was talented and she was confident that she was going to play her best. besides, she had been playing way long before she had come and she was classified as one of the star players. Maya also plays with boys on her team, and she is one of the best strikers, like victor and tito. also maybe she thought that Miss Fisher wanted to distract her and that means that paul would have to go in the game as back up golie.

 “Have you ever wondered how it would be like to live the experience of seeing a sinkhole at the moment it happened??” I don’t think anyone would like to go through this scary experience, but on Monday September 11 at Lake Windsor Middle School went through this tragedy. This incident was reported from CNN news. Fortunately nobody got killed and only a dozen students got hurt, but they weren’t seriously injured. The crater was a small one no more than 15 yards across.  The sinkhole destroyed walkways and portable’s 16-21. We had interview Dr. Judith, a geologist from Florida State University. She explained that the recent amount of rain caused an under ground cavern to form which then collapsed. Everything above the surface collapsed with the sinkhole. The reason the portables got damaged so much was because they were connected to a wooden walkway.  The news couldn’t take an image of that part of the seen. 

One of the local students at this school named Paul Fisher help rescue about 20 students and a teacher out of the sinkhole. Paul managed to dig and one at a time he pulled out each student. When we interviewed Paul he clearly said that since the mud were on his glasses, he didn’t manage to see how fast he pulled out all the class room. He was amazed at what he could do. People say he is a true hero. 

The parents of the students at Windsor Middle School were terrified at the incident.  The parents of Paul fisher asked if they could give their opinion about the incident and they said that if the construction of the school were better, it would be more secure.  Other parents were interviewed and the majority said that its not only the sinkhole but it also the system of the school that’s not working well. The community was disappointed in how this happened because they thought that they were living in a well constructed environment. Everyone thought it was devastating. 

In reaction to the sinkhole, some people looked at it in a positive way. Mr. Fisher got promoted to a better position in the job; seen s the old boss got fired for not sending his workers to inspect. Also Paul got transferred to another school. The community is taking this more seriously. There are still investigations being done on the sinkhole and how to make new constructions.
